Good Start for Transformative Leadership
We had our first luncheon on Transformative Leadership, an ongoing conversation we are having about how we, each one of us, make substantial and sustainable changes in our communities. Our immediately goal in having these luncheons is to bypass the rhetoric that suggest that in order to make meaningful changes in our lives that we must first take a position, be for or against something and be unwilling to budge from our stance. By first taking sides, based sometimes on soundbites as an example, we’ve limited our ability to speak and act authentically, adding to the notion that a stalemate is somehow a win.
Later on this year we will be expanding this conversation in a 4 day workshop that has as it goal the strengthening of our communities, where participants vigorously take on the responsibility of leadership and leadership development. Where winning means progress, understanding, civility and respect. Stay tune.

Joel:
Wow! What a brilliant idea! This is inspiring. I can see the possibility of these kind of conversations happening in communities literally all over the world. Generating new futures and new faces of leadership happens in ongoing conversation.
Thank you for sharing this!

Joel:
Many thanks to you for making it happen and to all who attended the Transformative Leadership workshop.
To those in attendance, we appreciate your kind words, e-mails and phone calls regarding the value received from the information presented. We look forward to seeing you at our next workshop.
You are a dedicated speaker and it is my pleasure to work with you.
For those that think they have it all down and together, this is for you. Affirmation and regeneration of style and tactics to succeed. There is nothing like being told by a highly respected professional, that you are doing it right.
Imagine having the world turned into your oyster and your goals and aspirations become the pearls. This collective of minds become the sands of time polishing you in a matter of a few hours. Thank you for lifting my spirits and acknowledging the hope I possess is not wasted energy. I am a force to be reckoned with and you have turned it loose on the world. I mentioned that you are “dangerous”, you will someday see what I mean.
peace
